Business Portraits in a North Portland Park: Kronda

A bit over a month ago, I connected with Kronda of Karvel Digital at an event and it turned out we both had some business needs for which the other could help. I was able to use some of her web design smarts to clean things up on one of my websites, and it turned out that she needed some new portraits. As they say, the rest is history.

Portland Business Headshot - Woman

We met one evening at Arbor Lodge Park in North Portland and did a series of photos… some more formal and serious, some more light-hearted. Kronda is like many small business owners with a need for photos for her website, social media, speaking and conference engagements, and more. By providing her with four different portraits, she can choose which look she wants to portray for each of these purposes.

Nathan: Portraits of a Small Business Owner

I really enjoy working with other small- to mid-sized businesses in the Portland area. A few weeks back I was able to make a few portraits for Nathan who runs a small software business.

Portland Executive Headshot

Nathan was looking for a few images for various professional purposes. This included a traditional studio-style headshot as well as some portraits that showed off a bit of Portland. We incorporated a bit of the Portland waterfront with the iconic Steel Bridge in the background for one of the photos (shown below).

This allows Nathan to provide a serious, formal photo for those serious purposes as well as a few more relaxed images for his website, social media, or other informal occasions.

Portland Executive Headshots: Carolynn

I was contacted by Carolynn a couple months ago about an executive headshot for her Portland-based business. When she contacted me we had to find a good time to schedule her portrait; she’d recently been fielding interviews from Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. A current portrait was in order for her various publicity needs.

As with many of my clients I arrived at her office for the portrait session, utilized my portable backdrop and lighting equipment to set up a small studio environment, and made Carolynn’s portrait.

A studio portrait look doesn’t mean you have to leave your office or house – with a variety of portable backdrops and lighting gear, I’m able to bring a studio to you, making your headshots or other portraits as simple as possible with minimal disruption to your schedule.

Business Headshots in Portland Oregon: Nicole

Nicole is a social media professional who lives near Salt Lake City; I met her for the first time at New Media Expo in Las Vegas. A trip to Portland, Oregon brought her near me and presented the opportunity to make some new professional photos for her online presence and media kit.

Nicole had a gastric bypass surgery about a year ago and has lost quite a bit of weight since that time. She was excited to have some new photos that show off her updated look.

Business Portraits in Portland: Kristin

I recently had the opportunity to create some portraits of Kristin, who describes herself as a thinker, doer, and aspiring rainmaker. She works with a variety of clients (from small non-profits to government organizations and needed both a more formal headshot along with something more casual – an outdoor environmental portrait.
