Simple Business Portrait in Portland: Matthew

Actors need actor headshots. Models need modeling headshots. And small business owners need a simple business headshot that they can use to put a face on their business. A professional business portrait can be used for your website, social media, and is handy if you’re going to be speaking or appearing at an event.

Simple Business Portrait in Portland

Sure, you can turn it into an order, but a simple business portrait should be just that… simple. An easy experience with the photographer that results in a nice portrait or business headshot that can be used for any number of professional purposes.

This photo is of Matthew. This business portrait in Portland is a good example of the sort of thing that should be painless for all involved. I brought my mobile studio to his location, set up, made several pictures, and was gone in about an hour. It’s an easy experience for my clients; they don’t need to interrupt their workday with travel to a studio.

Your Company Photos Can Have Personality

Sure, we’ve all seen static, traditional business portraits or company photos. Heck, I’ve made a bunch of them when that’s the look the client wants.

But your business headshot, or your company group photo, doesn’t have to be dull or traditional. We can take an outdoor portrait in Portland and give it some personality based on the pose and attitude of the subject:

Sure, we could do a picture of your team standing against a blank wall. If you’re a traditional bank, that’s probably appropriate. But if your organization is one where we can display a bit more personality, we could make a Portland company photo up on your rooftop and let folks have some fun.

Urban Portland Business Headshots: Kris

About a month ago, I made some new business portraits for Kris. Among the options, we went for a couple urban locations for portraits in Portland’s Pearl District.

While there are a lot of options for outdoor portraits or Portland business headshots, I often find that when it comes to a business portrait, simple is best. I’m a big fan for creativity for one’s portrait in many cases, but if we’re talking about a business portrait for traditional usage, it’s best to have something without distractions or elements that might lead the viewer astray.

Business Portraits at Your Location

When I’m working with clients, most of the business portraits and headshots in Vancouver Washington or Portland Oregon areas are done on location at the client’s office or home.

We find a time that’s convenient for you (and others, if we’re doing portraits of multiple people) and I bring backdrop(s), lighting equipment, and my camera gear. You end up with a professional portrait or headshot and you don’t have to drive across town.

If you could use an updated headshot, business portrait, or social media avatar, drop me a note or give me a call and let’s make it happen!
